Engine Harnesses

Over the past six months the ArcFlo team has been working with a customer that supports a major OEM engine supplier.  The five different engine harnesses we now supply support the global oil and gas industry. 

At the start of the project ArcFlo was approached as a potential supplier. Working with their New Product Team and Electrical Engineers we reviewed the design, components and layout of the required harnesses. Once we were awarded the contract we became a partner in the prototype process offering a number of potential improvements.  For example, we were able to find alternative components that reduced cost and supply chain risk.  We also mocked up a completely different harness design approach for one of the larger harnesses.  The result was reduced cost, easier installation for our customer site and reduced opportunity for error.

What a great experience bringing our skills and experience to a new project that results in our customer making a great product.
